Coach Swann had these remarks from the weekend, "Huge thanks to Coach Owen over at Peru State for hosting a great tournament. Really pleased with the effort from the girls over the course of the weekend. They are really starting to find a groove and have been playing some solid golf. Friday was really nice temperature wise, and the course gave up some good numbers but Saturday offered 40 MPH wind gusts. Congrats to Kennedy and Mollee on earning a medal a finishing well through hurricane winds. Haley had a little trouble with the greens but was one shot out of medaling; I'm pleased with where her game is at right now. Skyler stayed consistent through the weekend and has been hitting her driver well. She gave up a few shots around the greens but played some solid golf."
The Pirates will be in action next on April 15th-16th when they travel to Oskaloosa, IA to compete in the William Penn Spring Statesmen Invitational.
