Olszowka Claims Individual Title, Lady Pirates Finish 2nd At MCC Fall Invitational

The North Central Missouri College Women's Golf Team traveled to Kansas, MO on Wednesday to compete in the MCC Wolves "Howl" Fall Invitational held at Fred Arbanas Golf Course. The NCMC women finished in 2nd place at the event posting a team score of 376 which was only 6 shots behind tournament champion Fort Scott Community College coming in with a team tally of 370. Mollee Olszowka earned her first collegiate induvial win firing a nice round of 85. Olszowka was able to beat out Avery Scott from Fort Scott CC who finished in 2nd place with an 86. Olszowka is the first women's golfer since ReaLee Smith back in 2022 to claim an individual title.

 

Skyler Powers earned a Top 5 on Wednesday shooting a nice round of 95. Powers ended up 4th for the tournament. Kennedy Dickerson and Haley Baskett posted scores of 97 and 99 respectively for the Pirates with Dickerson placing in 6th and Baskett finishing T7th for the event. Claire Renfro finished in 11th after coming around the Fred Arbanas layout with a 104. Riley Moreno rounded out the Pirate scoring with a 134 and placing in 15th for the tournament.

 

The NCMC Women will be in action next as they wrap up their Fall tournament schedule on October 23rd-24th in Newton, KS at the Sand Creek Station Intercollegiate.
