The North Central Missouri College Women's Golf team traveled to Burlington, IA on Monday to compete in the Southeastern CC Blackhawk Spring Invitational held at Burlington Golf Club. The Lady Pirates had a successful day on the links finishing with three golfers inside the Top Ten (3rd, 5th, and 6th) and two receiving medals for being inside the Top 5 for the tournament. ReaLee Smith led the Lady Pirates firing a 92 on Monday and finishing in 3rd place in the 23 player field. Kennedy Dickerson placed in 5th and also receiving a medal after shooting a 96. Brianna Filley shot a 97 which is her personal best 18-hole score as a Pirate and finished in 6th place for the tournament. "Having three inside the Top Ten is always a great day and I'm extremely proud of the way the girls played. Burlington Golf Club is a tough track and for the girls seeing it for the first time and having that type of success was fun to watch. The Course measured out to 6200 for the girls which is about as long as they have played this year.

The Lady Pirates will now turn their attention to the TatankaSpring Invite on April 14th and 15th at Tatanka Golf Club in Niobrara, NE. Tee times for the Women will begin and 10:00 A.M. Live scoring will be available for both days of the Tournament.
