NCMC women's golf took 2nd place out of 3 teams at Sunday's Viking Shootout, hosted by Missouri Valley College. The Lady Pirates team score, 397, bested the host by 18 strokes but trailed the winner William Woods University by 70 strokes. William Woods also took the top five individual spots in the shootout.
Leading the way for NCMC was Sara Golden at +20. That was good for 6th place in the 19 player field. Winning the 18-hole event was Krystal Burgtorf at +7. Other Lady Pirates individual places and scores were as follows:

March 30-31st will be the team's next tournament and final tune up before the NJCAA Region XVI Championship. They will compete in the Moundbuilder Spring Invite in Winfield, KS.
