Coach Croy is entering her 18th season as head coach of the Lady Pirates in 2024-25. She has a record of 307-206 games as a head coach for NCMC.
During her tenure at NCMC (2006-present), the Lady Pirates have won six NJCAA region titles (2007, 2014, 2015, 2018, 2022, 2023) and made it to the NJCAA DII National Tournament in 2007, 2014, 2022, 2023 & 2024.
Croy has coached seven NJCAA DII All-Americans (Maci Moore 2022-23, Nora Ford 2021-22 and 2022-23, Kortlyn Rounkles 2019-2020, Samone Redditt 2013-2014, Cassie Hunt 2007-2008 and 2008-2009) and numerous NJCAA DII Academic All-Americans.
Croy began her coaching career at the high school level where she was a head coach for 3 years and an assistant for 5 years. She then became the assistant coach at NCMC for the 2006-2007 season under then head coach James Arnold.
Croy, a Kearney, MO native, had a decorated college career at Pittsburg State University from 1993-1997. She was a 4-time All-MIAA pick and received NCAA DII All-American honors her senior season. Croy finished her career as PSU’s all-time leading scorer, and was 2nd all-time in the NCAA for 3 point field goals made in a career with 364.
In 2007, Jenni (Miller) Croy was inducted into Pittsburg State University’s Athletic Hall of Fame. In 2008, she was inducted into NCMC’s athletic hall of fame alongside the 2006-2007 team for her duties as the assistant coach. 2017, Coach Croy was inducted into the Kearney High School Athletic Hall of Fame in recognition of her high school basketball career. 2018 saw Coach Croy honored by the MIAA and inducted into the MIAA athletic hall of fame for her basketball career at PSU. In 2020, she was inducted alongside her 2013-2014 team to the NCMC Athletics Hall of Fame.
Coach Croy received her BSE in Mathematics from Pittsburg State University in 1997, and her Master of Education degree in Secondary Administration from William Woods University in 2006.
She and her husband Wes reside in Trenton. MO and have 3 children, Lathan, Salem, and Kaegen.
