19th ranked NCMC women's basketball took care of business on Saturday when they downed Southeast CC 86-73 in front of a packed home crowd. The win improved the team's season record to 12-4 with their next action coming on Wednesday when they host Graceland University JV. Tipoff is set for 5:30pm.
A balanced NCMC attack proved effective against the Storm. Nora Ford (21 pts), Ianara Morbidoni (16 pts), Kennadie Crowe (13 pts) and Jordyn Gray (12 pts) led the way. Ford was also recognized prior to the game for reaching the 1,000 point plateau in her NCMC career. She eclipsed that mark against Palm Beach State College when she scored 32 points.
