The 19th ranked Lady Pirates rebounded from their semester opening loss at Highland CC by defeating Crowder College 77-62 Wednesday night in Neosho, MO. With the win, NCMC holds an 11-4 record before a matchup Saturday at home against Southeast CC. That day will be Hall of Fame Induction/Alumni Appreciation Day for the Pirates. Former star Samone Redditt will be one of four former Pirates inducted.
Staring in the road victory was All-American Nora Ford with 29 points on an efficient 10 of 20 shooting night. Seven of those made baskets came from behind the arc. Maci Moore also had a stellar game as she pulled down 15 rebounds and scored 16 points.
