19th ranked NCMC Lady Pirates basketball had no issues in defeating an overmatched Missouri Valley College JV team on Thursday night in the Ketcham Community Center. The 101-56 victory improved NCMC's record to 4-2 for the season. Next on the schedule will be a home matchup with North Platte Community College out of North Platte, NE. The Lady Knights hold a 1-4 record early in the season.
Angel Wiggins, a sophomore out of Kansas City, MO, posted a game high 20 points for NCMC. This was also her highest career points total as a Lady Pirate. Maci Moore (18 pts), Kennadie Crowe (14 pts), Brittney McKay (13 pts), and Lily Osborn (10 pts) also had nice scoring nights.
