Lady Pirates Basketball halted an eleven game losing skid Wednesday night as they took down Graceland University JV 79-68.  Next up for NCMC will be a road matchup with Southeast Community College in Beatrice, NE on Saturday.  They will carry a 7-16 overall into the contest.

Coach Croy was pleased with her team's performance.  "It was nice to get back in the win column.  We knew we needed to put together four solid quarters and the girls did just that.  Megan Ernzen stepped up big time with 29 points.  She set the tone for the girls with the "we are winning this" mentality," noted Croy.
