NCMC Women's Basketball took a 79-65 home loss Tuesday to Crowder College.  The team's overall record now sits at 6-9.  Next on the schedule is a road trip to the University of Saint Mary JV on Thursday where the Lady Pirates will try to stop their current 4-game losing skid.

A slow start and finish doomed the Lady Pirates.  After one quarter, NCMC trailed 17-10.  After holding their own in the middle quarters with the Lady Roughriders, Coach Croy's squad struggled to finish the game strong.  "We got off to a slow start and then didn't finish well.  We tend to play well the 2nd and 3rd quarters.  We have to play every quarter with the intensity that we did in the 2nd quarter.  We did some good things but then had some lapses that just can't happen for us to be successful," commented Croy.
