Lady Pirates Basketball took a pair of losses on their annual Florida trip to Miami.  On Tuesday, it was a 106-45 defeat to Miami Dade College.  Wednesday saw the Lady Pirates downed 79-48 against ASA College (Miami).  The defeats put the team record at 6-7 heading into the second semester of action.

Key matchups are still upcoming for the Lady Pirates.  All four Region 16 contests are on the slate for the second semester, beginning with a home tilt against 7^th ranked St. Louis Community College on January 12^th.  Metropolitan Community College comes to the Ketcham Center on January 23^rd.  The final game of the regular season, a home contest against 5^th ranked North Arkansas College, is a must see.
