Sophomore women's basketball player Samm Jett has signed her National Letter of Intent to continue her playing career for Missouri Valley College.  Jett, who plans to major in Education, averaged 9.3 ppg in her sophomore season for the Lady Pirates.  Her 89% mark from the free-throw line also put her in a tie for best career free throw percentage for the Lady Pirates.

The type of player Missouri Valley can expect to see on the court next winter is an extremely competitive one.  Intensity was a trademark trait of Jett's during her time at NCMC.  "Samm is a competitor!  She brings that competitiveness every day in practice and games," remarked Coach Croy.  Pirates athletics wishes Samm the best of luck at the 4-year level.
