The Lady Pirates pulled off another win Wednesday evening on the road against Region 16 foe Cottey College 61-58.  The win improves the Lady Pirates overall record to 14-5 and 2-0 in region play.  The victory is all the more impressive because of the always difficult atmosphere playing at Cottey offers.

Kendey Eaton poured in 21 points for the Lady Pirates to lead the scoring.  Sarah Lamp also had an impressive night with yet another double-double.  Sophomore McKinley Hurley totaled 11 points before fouling out late in the game.

The next test for the Lady Pirates comes at home on Saturday against MCC-Penn Valley.  Coach Croy's squad hopes to keep alive their perfect Region 16 record in that contest.  The women's tipoff is set for 1:00pm in the Ketcham Community Center with the men to follow.
