The Lady Pirates had an outstanding road effort Monday against Missouri Valley College JV. They improved to 11-5 with a 97-27 drubbing of the Vikings. Coach Croy was impressed by the contributions up and down the lineup; "It was a team effort tonight. Everyone contributed. It was a good win to lead us into region play."
Asia Young led the way with 20 points. Four more Lady Pirates contributed in double digits: Sarah Lamp (14 pts), Kelly Warford (14 pts and 10 rebounds), Madison Gonseth (14 pts), and Kendey Eaton (13 pts).
The Lady Pirates open Region 16 play Wednesday, January 18th at home against Wentworth Military Academy with a 5:30pm tipoff.
