Pirate's softball had a difficult road stretch of games last week where they dropped 5 of 6 games to Region 16 opponents.  The team's lone win came against Three Rivers CC on Wednesday when they downed the Raiders 12-10.  NCMC lost the final 3 games of the series plus both ends of a doubleheader with State Fair CC on Friday.  Overall, NCMC holds a record of 18-13 and are 4-12 in region play.

In the team's win, the Pirate's pounded out 16 hits and 12 runs.  Posting the best game was Brookelynn Becker who went 2-4 with a homer, 2 runs scored and 4 RBIs.  Also homering was Rylee Murray.  She went 2-5.  Knocking 3 hits a piece were Cassi Rodgers and Chloe Bell.  Earning the win was Rodgers in complete game fashion. 

NCMC will look to halt their 5-game skid when they travel to Neosho County CC on Tuesday.
