Pirates softball has continued to play solid ball over the last few outings including as doubleheader sweep over 18th ranked Jefferson College on April 22nd. Following those huge wins, NCMC split a road matchup with Southeast CC and swept Central CC-Columbus on the road to move their season record to 24-16.
Against JeffCo, NCMC posted victories by the scores of 4-2 and 2-1. Twirling solid complete game pitching performances to earn wins were Chloe Buckallew (8-4) and Sammi Bradshaw (9-5).
Zoey Chrisman has led the team's offensive power stats this season, including 7 home runs and 35 RBIs. The team's leading batting average is held by Emma Angel at .442 and Carsen Sorleder has scored the most runs with 25.
