Pirates Softball Stays Hot At State Fair CC

NCMC softball stayed hot by downing State Fair CC on the road Friday 7-3 and 3-0.  The wins improved the Pirates record to 19-15 and pushed their current winning streak to 13 games.  Next up will be a home Region 16 doubleheader with 18th ranked Jefferson College on Friday, April 22nd.

 

In game one, Zoey Chrisman posted a home run and 3 RBIs for NCMC.  Getting the win in the pitcher's circle was Chloe Buckallew.  She scattered 10 hits in her complete game victory.

 

Sammi Bradshaw twirled a gem in her game two victory.  She allowed just a single hit and struck out 5.  Chrisman again had a home run for the Pirates and Caragan Baker went 3-4 with a run scored and 1 RBI.  The Pirates as a team stole 6 bases in the win, a key to victory.
