Softball Drops A Pair In Florida

NCMC softball took a pair of defeats in their spring trip to Florida.  Parkland bested the Pirates 2-1 in the first game of the trip while Illinois Central got the better end of a 1-0 pitcher's duel in game two.  The remainder of the trip was washed out due to rain and wet field conditions.  The Pirates were scheduled to play 6 total games.

Scoring NCMC's lone run in Florida was sophomore outfielder Erica Sandoval.  She was driven in against Parkland by Abby Dobbins who went 3-3 in the game.  The Pirates tough luck pitchers were Sammi Bradshaw against Parkland and Chloe Buckallew against ICC.
