Pirates softball, under new head coach Sara Van Dyke, swept Missouri Valley JV 11-2 and 4-1 on Thursday in their home openers to even the team's season record at 3-3. To start the season, NCMC had taken a pair of road losses at Iowa Western CC and split on the road with Johnson County CC.
NCMC is back in action on the road Friday when they travel to Kansas City Kansas CC for a doubleheader. First pitch is set for 1pm and fans that can't make the trip can watch on the KCKCC live stream at https://team1sports.com/kckcc/.
