NCMC Lady Pirate's softball concluded their regular season schedule Monday with a pair of shutout victories over Southwestern Community College.  The Lady Pirates carry a 30-16 overall record into the NJCAA Region 16 tournament which begins on Friday in Columbia, MO.

"We played pretty well defensively and our pitching was very good in both games.  Offense was a little tougher with the wind blowing like it was but we were able to push some runs across the plate," commented Coach Steve Richman on the efforts of his team.  "These wins were a great way to finish our season at home."
