The Lady Pirate's softball team finished a long stretch of games (14 games in 7 days) strong sweeping Ellsworth Community College on Tuesday, region foe State Fair Community College on Wednesday, and Graceland JV on Thursday.  All six games were of the home variety and the wins push the team's record to 27-13 overall.

Going into Easter break, the Lady Pirates can look forward to some tough contests forthcoming with a road doubleheader on Monday against Crowder College.  In the home games against the Roughriders, the Lady Pirates fell 8-5 and 7-1.  On Wednesday, the team will try to avenge another doubleheader sweep against Indian Hills CC.  On the road earlier in the season, the Lady Pirate's had a rough go of it losing 13-0 in both games.
