The North Central Missouri College Men's Golf traveled to Indianola, IA on Wednesday to compete in the Simpson Fall Invitational held at Indianola Country Club. The NCMC Men fired their best team score of the Fall with a 318 and finished in 5^th place out of 14 schools at the event. Host Simpson College won the team portion of the event with a score of 302. "Huge thanks to Coach Johnson over at Simpson for putting together a great event. Although not long in distance the greens at Indianola Country Club were challenging but the guys came into the tournament with a solid mindset and was fun to watch their best showing of the Fall. A competitive tournament field with some solid 4-year schools on Wednesday so hopefully this event will give the guys some momentum with two tournaments left in our Fall Schedule. Really nice to see Luke and Caden post their personal best scores of the Fall. Very happy with everyone 1-5 but now need to flip the page and get prepared for a tough Lake Panorama National Golf Course next week", quoted Coach Swann.

Luke Lopes led the Pirates firing an 18-hole score of 76, which placed Lopes in T6th for the event. Will Heller stayed consistent for NCMC posting a score of 79. Caden Miller fired his best round of the Fall with a nice round of 80. Synjin Stocked posted his 3^rd straight Fall tournament round of 83 which included hitting 10 out of 13 fairways in regulation. Jacob Stallo shot an 88 for NCMC but has "started to find some consistency with his driver which will really help in Iowa next week", stated Coach Swann.

The NCMC Men's Golf team will now turn their attention to the SWCC Premiere Fall Invitational on October 16^th-17^th at the Lake Panorama National Golf Course in Panora, IA.
