NCMC Men’s Golf Finishes 10th In Hutchinson, KS To Open Fall Schedule

The NCMC men's golf team traveled to Hutchinson, KS over the Labor Day weekend to compete in the Crazy Horse Challenge hosted by Sterling College.  The event was held at Crazy Horse Sports Club and Golf Course. The Pirates competed with a solid mix of NAIA schools along with some NJCAA competition throughout the event. 36 holes were played on Tuesday by NCMC and the event concluded Wednesday afternoon with 18 holes. The NCMC men took 10th place out of 11 teams at the conclusion of play on Wednesday. Iowa Western Community College out of Council Bluffs, IA won the team portion of the event.

The Pirates contingent was led by Will Heller with a 54 hole score of 235 and finishing in 35th place for the tournament. Jacob Stallo and Synjin Stockton shot 255 and 267 respectively for NCMC. Cody Smith and Caden Miller matched each other with a tally of 282. Luke Lopes rounded out the Pirate's  scoring with a 54-hole total of 285. NCMC will be back in action on Monday as they travel to Creston, IA to compete in the SWCC "War at the Moor". Tee Times for will begin at 9:00am.
