Pirates Jump On Top Early And Cruise To Victory Over Highland CC Kansas

In an impressive display of offensive efficiency, North Central Missouri College men's basketball secured a decisive victory against Highland Community College Kansas with a final score of 82-67.  The 19th ranked Pirates improved to 11-4 ahead of a road matchup Saturday with Southeast CC.

 

Isaiah Reams led the charge for NCMC, delivering an outstanding performance with 25 points, including a perfect 5-for-5 from the free-throw line. Reams showcased his scoring versatility, contributing from beyond the arc with 2 three-pointers. His efforts were complemented by a well-rounded game, including 2 assists, 2 steals, and 1 rebound.

 

Giovanni Mack played a pivotal role in the team's success, contributing 13 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 assists. His playmaking ability and scoring efficiency were crucial in dictating the pace of the game.

 

Tyler King also made a significant impact, contributing 16 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists. King's scoring ability, coupled with his defensive efforts, helped the Pirates maintain control throughout the contest.

 

Joe Clark and Jon Carroll provided valuable contributions off the bench, combining for 14 points and 12 rebounds. Clark's presence in the paint, securing 6 rebounds, added depth to the team's frontcourt.

 

NCMC got off to a hot start and carried a 50-22 lead in to halftime.  From there, they cruised to victory.  The team showcased impressive shooting percentages, with a 54.0% field goal accuracy and 52.4% from the free-throw line.
