Pirate's Basketball Splits Pair Of KCKCC Classic Games

Pirate's basketball split a pair of weekend games in the KCKCC Classic.  They dropped a Friday afternoon matchup with National Park College 102-83 before taking Saturday night's contest with host Kansas City Kansas CC 78-69.  The team now holds a 4-2 record ahead of a home game Tuesday with Ellsworth CC.  Tipoff in the Ketcham Community Center is set for 7:00pm.

Three Pirates led the team's scoring efforts against National Park.  Isaiah Reams posted 22 points on 9-17 shooting.  Also in double figures were Tyler King with 20 points and Giovanni Mack with 19 points.

In the win over KCKCC, Mack again had a nice scoring output with a team high 20 points plus 8 assists.  King netted 19 points in the victory, which is right on par with his 19.5 points per game average in the young season.
