Pirates Post An 85-73 Home Win Over Southwestern CC

The game between North Central Missouri College and Southwestern Community College was an intense matchup. NCMC emerged victorious with a final score of 85-73.  With the win, the Pirates moved to 3-1 for the season with their next game being a neutral site showdown with National Park College in the KCKCC Classic.  That game is set for Friday in Kansas City, MO.

 

NCMC utilized a balanced effort from their starters. Tyler King was the standout player, scoring 23 points, while Giovanni Mack and Isaiah Reams scored 13 and 16 points, respectively. Joe Clark and Dampier Evans also made important contributions on both ends of the floor. They maintained a solid 8-point lead going into the second half.

 

The Pirates had a strong shooting performance as a team, with a 64.0% field goal percentage but a pedestrian 58.6% free throw percentage. This is something they will look to improve upon as the season progresses. Their defense was impressive, with 23 defensive rebounds and 12 steals, showing a balanced team effort.

 

Overall, it was an exciting game with impressive individual performances on both sides, but North Central Missouri College's well-rounded team effort secured the victory.
