Pirate's basketball took an 84-80 home loss on Saturday to Southeast CC.  The loss broke the team's 9-game winning streak, which dated back to November.  The Pirates hold a season record of 13-5 and will play host to SEMO Prep on Tuesday.

Starter Nelson Reynolds (21 pts) and reserve Carlton Thomas (20 pts, 11 reb) led the charge for NCMC.  In the close matchup, turnovers proved to be the difference.  The visiting Storm turned it over just 10 times will NCMC had 16. 

Southeast CC leaned heavily on Denim Johnson for their offensive output and he was up to the task, scoring 26 points on 11-18 shooting.
