It was a dominating victory for the 19th ranked NCMC Pirates men's basketball team Monday night over NJCAA DI opponent State Fair Community College. 84-64 was the final score and marked back to back years that the Pirates have defeated the Roadrunners.
Following the game, NCMC Head Coach Jeremy Esry was very pleased with his team's performance. Leading the scoring was sophomore Jeramy Shaw with 21 points. All Pirates starters finished the game in double figures for a balanced attack.
Next up for NCMC will be their second Region XVI matchup when they host St. Louis Community College. Tipoff is set for 4:00pm and the Pirates will look to improve to 2-0 in region play.
