Home Split For Pirates Basketball

Pirates Basketball split a pair of games over the weekend.  They fell to DI power Mineral Area College 89-64 on Saturday but came back with a resounding 106-50 win over Graceland University JV last night.  Overall, the team's record sits at 5-4.  Next up is a road contest with State Fair Community College.  NCMC defeated the Roadrunners 89-84 a year ago.

Leading the scoring against MAC was sophomore Jeramy Shaw.  He totaled 15 points.  Also in double figures was Atavian Butler with 11 points.

Points were easier to come by in the blowout win against Graceland.  Butler (14 pts), Camron Donatlan (13 pts), Kolten Griffin (12 pts) and Riak Mabour (10 pts) anchored the well balanced attack.
