The 17th ranked North Central Missouri College men's basketball team had no issues dismissing the visiting Central Methodist University JV 100-64 on Thursday night. The win, a lopsided affair from the beginning, moved the Pirates to 4-3 overall for the season. Next up will be a home matchup with Mineral Area College, a team the Pirates took a road defeat to earlier this season. The Cardinals are ranked 9th in the latest NJCAA DI poll and hold an undefeated 7-0 record. Tipoff for that matchup in the Ketcham Center is set for 4:00pm Saturday.
"That's the basketball we expect here at North Central," commented a pleased Coach Esry following the game. "I thought we shared it really well and defensively did a lot of good things."
