6th Ranked NCMC Men’s Basketball Travels To Arkansas For Central Plains District Championship

North Central Missouri College men's basketball will be traveling to West Memphis, Arkansas where they will take on Arkansas State University Mid-South in the National Junior College Athletic Association Division II, Central Plains District Championship on Saturday, March 7th.  Tipoff for the game will be 2:00pm.  The winner will move on to the National Tournament, which will be held in Danville, Illinois on March 17th-21st.

 

Pirates basketball, ranked #6 in the most recent NJCAA national poll, earned their berth to the contest with a Region XVI championship victory over St. Louis Community College 74-64.  That win moved the team's record to 26-3 overall.  Mid-South, with a record of 25-7, defeated North Arkansas College 104-83 in their region championship.  They hold the #17 national ranking.
