Pirates basketball pushed their win streak to fifteen with a 76-61 homecoming win Saturday over St. Louis Community College. The game marked the opening of the NJCAA Region XVI slate for the Pirates. Overall, the top-ranked NCMC squad sits at 19-1 with their next action coming at home Tuesday against Culver Stockton College JV.
As a team, the Pirates shot 42% from the field and had four players in double figures. Leading the way was sophomore Marty Jackson, netting 18 points in the victory. Quinan Rieves recorded a double-double, pulling down 10 rebounds and scoring 13.
