Graceland University JV proved no match for the high-powered NCMC men's basketball team on Friday. The Pirates won the contest 121-73 to push their record to 17-1 for the season. Next up will be a road trip Tuesday to Beatrice, Nebraska to take on Southeast Community College. In a home matchup earlier this year, NCMC posted a 23-point victory over the Storm.
Nine Pirates totaled double digits in points on Friday night. Leading the scoring was TJ Babikir with 20 points. That marked the tenth time this season he has pushed into double figures. As a team, the Pirates offense is averaging 98.6 points per game, 8th best in NJCAA Division II.
