Pirates Basketball Adds Kenny Stone To Recruiting Class

Kenny Stone, a 5'9" guard from Sturgeon High School in Sturgeon, MO, has signed with North Central Missouri College.   He accumulated 1,612 career points in his prep career and was named to the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association Class 2 All-State Team as a senior.  In his high school career he earned two First Team All-District selections and was twice named the CAC Conference MVP.

Head Coach Jeremy Esry had these comments about his future Pirate.  "Kenny Stone is a competitor and someone we know is going to bring it every day on the court and in the classroom to make us better.  I first got to know Kenny when he was in 6th grade and I was working a summer basketball camp at Central Methodist University.  He was one of the most electrifying kids his age at that camp and his skill set and game has only grown from there.  Kenny will provide some much needed outside shooting for us as well as some quickness on the perimeter and we are excited that he chose to be a Pirate!"
