Road Losses For Men's And Women's Basketball

It was a tough road trip for NCMC Men's and Women's Basketball on Saturday.  North Arkansas College got the best of both teams with a 92-72 win over the Lady Pirates and a 101-80 victory against the Pirates.  Men's basketball now holds a 9-9 record for the year while the women sit at 6-12.

Coach Jeremy Esry had these comments about his team's efforts down in Harrison, AR.  "North Ark beat us in every aspect of the game on Saturday.  I felt we got out coached and out played from the beginning.  They were the tougher team and as we have found out this season, the tougher teams usually win.  Great thing about the basketball season is there generally isn't too many days to sulk on loses and thankfully we get to play again Tuesday night and hopefully get the bad taste out of our mouth."

The next men's game will be at home against Culver Stockton JV on Tuesday.  Both teams hit the road for a Region 16 showdown with St. Louis Community College on Saturday, February 2nd.
