The Pirates cruised to a 118-76 win Wednesday night in the Ketcham Community Center over Ottawa University JV. The win pushes the Pirates' record to 12-8 on the season. Next up will be a road clash with St. Louis Community College, whom the Pirates defeated 71-56 earlier in the season.
Coach Esry was pleased with the performance of his team against Ottawa. "We just played a real solid game all around. I thought our guys played really hard all game and did a great job of sharing the ball. It was nice to see MJ Johnson look like the old healthy MJ Johnson. Hopefully we can keep the momentum rolling into Saturday's game at St. Louis."
