The Pirates basketball team got a high flying win Monday night against the Central Methodist University JV team. The 98-64 win was highlighted by having five players in double figures for scoring with Major Finley totaling 18 points to lead the way and MJ Johnson also putting in 17 points.
"I thought we did a good job of playing with intensity the entire game. We still have some things we need to take care of in terms of rebounding and valuing the basketball but the effort was there which we appreciate. It was a great way to go into Thanksgiving Break and now it's time to prepare for Ellsworth on the 30th," commented Coach Esry.
The Pirates are now 4-2 on the season. The team is back in action on the road November 30th against Ellsworth Community College in Iowa Falls, IA.
