Esports Takes A Pair Of Exhibition Losses To #1 Ranked Hawkeye CC

NCMC Pirates kicked off their preseason competition in Rainbow Six Siege against #1 Ranked Hawkeye Community College. The matchup was a best of three; 5v5 secure the bomb game mode. The Pirates fell 2-0 taking their first loss of the preseason.

Game 1 took place on the map Oregon where NCMC was on the offensive side for the first 6 rounds. The teams switched sides after and NCMC went on the defensive side against HCC only to fall 7 rounds to 0 in Game 1.

Game 2 was played on the map Club House with the Pirates starting on the defensive side to start winning 1 round of the first 6. Hawkeye took the offensive side the second half of the game and took the victory with 7 rounds to 1.

The Pirates will compete again in Rainbow Six Siege Next Tuesday at 6:00 PM CST. NCMC's Call of Duty team will be taking action tonight against Dawson Community College at 5:00 PM CST.
