North Central Missouri College Esports competed against Hawkeye Community College on Sunday. In the best of five matchup, the Pirates were defeated 3-0.

"We played hard and worked together well as a team, however the enemy team had more consistent ultimate combinations that caught us off guard," commented team Capitan Cole Rorebeck.

James Blystone, a tank player for team NCMC, commented "We tried our hardest, we used our normal aggressive style however HCC had some good mei walls that stopped us in our tracks." 

NCMC's Overwatch team is currently focusing on positioning during practice; Head Coach Chris Flowers believes that this is the factor holding them back from better performances in games.

Overall, this marks the second match of 6 weeks for NCMC's Overwatch team.  Match times are held on Sunday at 7pm every week in March.
