Esports Earns First CS:GO Win

North Central Missouri College defeated Iowa Central Community College 16-1 in Wednesday night's CS:GO matchup.  The strategy the Pirates used was a combination of flashes and smokes to obstruct ICCC's vision and to push onward towards the site.  When NCMC switched to defense, they held great angles and stunted the opponent from taking the site 14 times.

The Pirates played on the map Mirage.  "Mirage is my personal favorite map so it was great to turn the tide compared to last week," remarked Aaron Babcock.

"ICCC was a breath of fresh air from our last match, considering St. Clair was the #1 ranked team in the collegiate CS:GO," commented Cole Rorebeck.

"It was great on one of the final rounds to whip out the Negev and take a nice three piece against ICCC," added Tony Garcia.

NCMC Head Coach Chris Flowers was pleased with the win.  "It was a good win for us, gives us momentum going forward. The kids played hard and used good teamwork. Good win all around especially this early in the season."
