Stephanie Hickman will be the NCMC Dance Wave coach beginning with the 2024-25 school year.  Stephanie has owned a dance studio in Bethany, MO for 17 years and ran a competitive program for 14 of those years.  Her dancers have competed in Des Moines, Kansas City, Omaha, Branson, and Saint Louis.  They have won National Competitions in several different styles; Stephanie is trained in all styles of dance.  Her studio has been an official training studio for the Junior Chiefs Cheerleaders for 13 years.  Stephanie’s Jr. CC’s perform at 1 Chiefs game per year.  It was through the Jr. Chiefs program that she began making connections with other studio owners and Chiefs cheerleaders.  These connections have helped make her and her dancers be the very best they can be.  Stephanie will also be bringing in friends from the industry to work with the dancers at NCMC.  

Stephanie grew up in Gilman City, MO.  She danced with Meri Thompson and Gayla Teel in Trenton.  Stephanie now lives in Princeton, MO and is married to Mace Hickman.  They have 3 kids (Zane, Maggie, and Molley).  

Stephanie is excited to bring a new element to Pirate's Basketball games.  The Dance Wave will not only be performing during halftime but will also be on the sidelines cheering and dancing.  GO PIRATES!
