Jared enters his second stint and third year as an assistant coach for the Pirates in 2024-25.  As a player, he competed for two years at NCMC as a catcher before moving on to play at NCAA DII Chowan University and NAIA Avila University.

Coach Fry has played unaffiliated minor league baseball in the past. In the summer of 2021, he played for the Monterey Amberjacks and the Houston Apollos.  For the 2022 summer, he played for the Glacier Range Riders and the Billings Mustangs, both of the Pioneer League.  In 2023 he was again back with Billings.  The summer of 2024 saw Fry split time between the Kansas City Monarchs and the Lake Country DockHounds.
