Game 1: NCMC pulled off a thrilling late-game comeback to edge out Hesston College 8–7, thanks to a balanced offensive effort and clutch performances on the mound. Julio Guerrero powered the offense with a home run and two RBIs, while Wilmer Jimenez played a key dual role, going 2-for-4 at the plate with an RBI double and earning the win on the mound despite giving up two runs in the final frame. Eduardo Chourio added a triple and two RBIs to fuel the rally, and Javier Suarez chipped in with two hits and an RBI. Starter Luis Leon struck out nine over six innings, and Johanno Perdomo provided a strong two-inning bridge with two strikeouts and only one earned run allowed. With this gritty performance, North Central showcased resilience and depth in both their lineup and bullpen.
