Pirates Drop 3 of 4 At Dakota County Tech

Pirates Baseball won just a single game in their 4-game series with Dakota County Technical College in Minneapolis, MN.  NCMC's record now sits at 25-19 with one regular season game remaining, a trip Tuesday to Metropolitan Community College.  The game will be played at the KC Urban Youth Academy.  First pitch for that 9-inning game will be 2pm and no visiting fans will be allowed due to COVID protocols.

Koby Linder picked up the lone Pirates win on the mound, tossing 5 solid innings in relief of starter Dylan Niemeyer in the back end of the doubleheader Saturday.  The Pirates won that game 18-6.  Defeats in the other three games were by the scores of 5-3, 8-7, and 3-0.

Braedyn Brewer had another outstanding weekend with the bat going 8-15 with 7 RBIs.  His team leading batting average is now a healthy .402.

Tanner Sears set the Pirates single season RBI mark over the weekend and has currently driven in 52 runs.  Connor Quick's old mark of 47 RBIs has stood since 2017.
