Pirates Baseball sophomore Kendrick Delima was recently selected to the NJCAA All-Region XVI Second Team for his efforts this season.  Delima hit .388 for the Pirates while driving in 44 runs.  Power was Kendrick's best asset as he blasted a single season NCMC record 12 home runs.  His 1.140 OPS also ranked among the league leaders.

Kendrick has signed a national letter of intent to continue his baseball career at Columbia College in the fall.  Columbia is fresh off its first trip to the opening round of the NAIA national tournament and a runner up finish in the always-competitive American Midwest Conference.  Cougar fans can expect Delima to make an immediate impact in the team's climb to national prominence.
