Pirates Baseball took a couple tough losses to Jefferson College at home on Tuesday.  The Vikings bested the Pirates 18-1 and 14-2 in the games.  NCMC now has a Region XVI record of 2-22 with eight region games left to play.  To make the sub-region tournament, the Pirates will need to pass current #8 seed Metropolitan CC, a team that is four wins ahead of the Pirates.

NCMC pitching surrendered 10 home runs to the visitors.  That, coupled with 8 errors in the doubleheader, was too much to overcome.  Vikings starting pitchers each twirled complete games.
