2025 NCMC Athletics Hall Of Fame Ceremony

North Central Missouri College (NCMC) celebrated an unforgettable afternoon Saturday as it welcomed the 2025 inductees into the NCMC Athletics Hall of Fame. The ceremony, held at the Ketcham Community Center, honored individuals and a team whose contributions to NCMC Athletics left an indelible legacy. Additionally, past inductees gathered to celebrate the achievements of this year's honorees and to receive their official Hall of Fame rings, adding an extra layer of tradition and pride to the occasion.

 

2025 NCMC Athletics Hall of Fame Inductees:

 

Marty Jackson (Men's Basketball, 2018-2020): A dominant force on the court, Marty Jackson made his mark as one of NCMC's most prolific scorers and rebounders. His leadership and talent helped elevate the men's basketball program during his tenure.

 

Tiara Johnson (Women's Basketball, 2005-2007): Known for her incredible work ethic and skill, Tiara Johnson was a standout performer who set multiple records and inspired her teammates with her dedication to excellence.

 

Frank Hampton (Men's Basketball, 1984-1986): A cornerstone of NCMC's basketball history, Frank Hampton was celebrated for his contributions both as a player and as a mentor to younger athletes.

 

Ron and Norma Dougan (Boosters): Lifelong supporters of NCMC Athletics, Ron and Norma Dougan have been unwavering in their dedication to the success of NCMC's student-athletes and programs. Their generosity and enthusiasm have made a lasting impact on the college community.

 

2019-2020 Men's Basketball Team: This historic team achieved remarkable success, showcasing resilience, teamwork, and determination on their way to being the first NCMC team to be ranked #1 in the nation. Their accomplishments on the court brought pride to NCMC and the Trenton community which cemented their legacy in NCMC athletics.

 

A Gathering of Legends:

 

The ceremony was made even more special as former Hall of Fame inductees returned to NCMC to receive their official Hall of Fame rings. Among those in attendance were Don Altes, Mike Arbuckle, Russell Bland, Kristen Brumley (Grime), Ralph & Joyce Cutsinger, Don Dalrymple, Jack Derry, Gary Garner, Chris Green, Richard Guile, Dick Halterman, Chris Hoffman on behalf of Charles and Frank Hoffman, Dr. John Holcomb, Tina Holt (Gibson), Tom Johnson, Jerry Lafferty, Steve Maxey, Max Mothersbaugh, Lory Passley (Mothersbaugh), Jacky Payne, Sammone Reddit, Cle Ross, and Jean Woods on behalf of Richard Woods. These individuals represent a wide range of sports and eras, but all share a common bond through their contributions to NCMC Athletics.

 

The evening's program highlighted not only the achievements of this year's inductees but also the lasting legacy of all Hall of Fame members. From players and coaches to boosters and contributors, the NCMC Athletics Hall of Fame serves as a testament to the rich history and bright future of the college's athletic programs.
