Kendra Holt from Kansas City, Missouri is in the Pirate Spotlight.  Kendra is a sophomore softball player, an A+ student and after graduating from NCMC plans to transfer to continue her bachelor’s degree.

Kendra also works at the library on campus in addition to being an active member of the campus community.  “I love that NCMC is in a small town.  It’s been better than I ever could have imagined.  My favorite thing is the homey atmosphere.  Since coming here, I haven’t been homesick.  I’ve had a lot of fun and met so many people,” stated Kendra.

As a Business Management major, she enjoys any business class, especially Business Communications with Sarah Bird.  “Mrs. Bird is dope; she makes class interesting and enjoyable,” said Kendra.
