NCMC women's golf placed 6^th in the Lady Swedes Shootout despite Emily Long earning a 12^th place individual finish.  Long, a freshman at NCMC, has placed 12^th or better in all four fall tournaments to date.

In the Shootout, which was contested over two days and 36 holes, NCMC was 97 strokes behind the winning team from Dodge City Community College.  NCMC and Dodge City were the only junior colleges competing in the event.

The final fall tournament for NCMC will be on Wednesday, September 30^th when they compete in the Simpson Invitational in Indianola, IA.
