North Central Missouri College women's basketball is thrilled to announce that sophomore standout Nateonia Russell has been chosen to compete in the prestigious AAU 3-On-3 All-American Games. The event will take place in Knoxville, TN on April 26-27 and is running in conjunction with the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame Induction weekend.

Russell's selection to this elite event underscores her exceptional talent and dedication to the sport of basketball.  The AAU 3-On-3 All-American Games feature the top 32 sophomore NJCAA women's basketball players in the nation, handpicked by the NJCAA Board. This esteemed recognition speaks volumes about Russell's prowess on the court and her ability to stand out among her peers.

Head Coach Jenni Croy expressed her excitement about Russell's selection, stating, "We are excited for Nae to get this opportunity. She really stood out at the national tournament this year with her tenacious defense, gaining herself attention from many coaches. This is quite an honor to be 1 of 32 chosen for this event. This is great exposure for our program and I am really proud of this year's team as well as all the teams before them that have made NCMC women's basketball a known program nationally."

Russell's inclusion in the AAU 3-On-3 All-American Games not only highlights her individual talent but also reflects positively on the Lady Pirate's basketball program as a whole. Her selection further solidifies the program's reputation as a breeding ground for top-tier athletes.

The AAU 3-On-3 All-American Games will provide Russell with a platform to demonstrate her skills on a national stage, offering invaluable exposure and networking opportunities. The entire NCMC community extends its full support to Russell as she prepares to represent our college with pride and distinction.
